restorative circle · gong-led yogic rest

  • Lavender Lane Wellness Center 215 Toman Drive Waterloo, ON, N2K 4H1 Canada (map)

inspired by yogic rest and the inward turning of pratyahara — allowing the body to soften while awareness remains quietly present.

this session invites you into the space between wakefulness and sleep,
where effort fades, yet attention remains.

if sound immersion invites you into a felt state,
this is an immersion into awareness,
a gentle becoming aware of awareness itself.

the experience unfolds in two parts.

we begin with guided meditation that includes intention setting (sankalpa) and a gentle rotation of consciousness.

this prepares the ground for the second half — a boundless gong immersion.

traditionally practiced, this allows us to:

remain aware while the body rests,
disengage from habitual identification,
experience consciousness without content.

what remains when doing stops, yet awareness stays?

contribution & energy exchange

to honour the space and energy we co-create, a contribution of $30 per guest supports this gathering.
