resonance circle · held in umbra

umbra, the darkest part of an eclipse —
when light is briefly filtered, not lost.
a deep amber warmth, tempering rather than extinguishing.
entering a pause where perception softens
and form shifts quietly.

held ahead of the total lunar eclipse and full moon,
this sound bath mirrors that threshold.
a deep pause in the familiar rhythm,
where change does not need to be forced or understood,
only allowed, through resonance, breath, and stillness.

restorative circle · gong-led yogic rest

restorative circle · gong-led yogic rest

inspired by yogic rest and the inward turning of pratyahara — allowing the body to soften while awareness remains quietly present.

this session invites you into the space between wakefulness and sleep,
where effort fades, yet attention remains.

if sound immersion invites you into a felt state,
this is an immersion into awareness,
a gentle becoming aware of awareness itself.

the experience unfolds in two parts.

we begin with guided meditation that includes intention setting (sankalpa) and a gentle rotation of consciousness.

this prepares the ground for the second half — a boundless gong immersion.

traditionally practiced, this allows us to:

remain aware while the body rests,
disengage from habitual identification,
experience consciousness without content.

what remains when doing stops, yet awareness stays?

resonance circle · desire in presence

resonance circle · desire in presence

a resonance circle dedicated to your deepest desire — experienced as a living signal within the body.

whether the desire is relational, creative, expressive, or deeply personal, this circle invites you to connect with its felt sense; not to analyse it, correct it, or resolve it, but to feel it as it lives within you.

sound becomes the bridge, supporting deeper listening and trusting the body’s natural intelligence to experience what is present.

following the sound immersion, we’ll gather in a shared tea circle. this is a space for expression, not explanation, where desire may be spoken, or simply held, without judgment, justification, analysis, or the impulse to fix or reframe it as a self-development task.

whether you choose to express, or to listen and hold space for others, the invitation remains the same: to stay present and open, without correcting what arises.

bonfire circle · a sacred pause

bonfire circle · a sacred pause

a shared inward practice of quiet withdrawal to tune out from distraction and tune in with silence, presence, and remembrance.

    • this is a self-guided, home-based inward practice, held through shared intention rather than instruction.

    • between January and March, those who step into the circle choose a consecutive two-day period to fully withdraw from non-essential distractions, holding this time as a sincere pause of silence and inward attention.

    • the three-month window is intentional. it allows space to gently prepare — gradually reducing noise, softening habits of constant input, and orienting inward — so the chosen two days of complete quiet feel grounded rather than abrupt.

    • on April 12, we gather for a bonfire circle, marking a shared moment of reconnection, gratitude, and integration.

    • there is no external monitoring. the practice is self-held; the only guide is your own awareness

  • a home-based, small-group inward practice, not to escape life, but to meet it more clearly.

it is inspired by ancient contemplative ways of turning inward; practices known by many names across cultures and traditions. you might call it Iʿtikāf, Vipassanā, hitbodedut, a period of retreat, or simply time set aside for silence and presence.

the language may differ. the essence is shared.

  • this practice is less about adding effort and more about removing interference. it invites sustained inward attention, stepping away from non-essential communication, stimulation, and social exchange, and a return to conscious awareness of breath, body, and inner movement.

this practice makes space for remembrance and conscious self-connection, held in silence and simplicity, which may include:

    • prayer or devotional remembrance

    • breath awareness or gentle breathwork

    • seated meditation or stillness

    • slow, mindful movement or yoga

    • contemplation, reflection, or journaling

    • quiet presence with the body and inner states

there is no single method to follow. each person is invited to listen inward and allow the days to unfold in a way that feels sincere and grounded. thoughts, emotions, impulses, and sensations are allowed to arise and pass — observed without reaction or correction.

reconnection & integration

following the completion of the practice, we will gather around a bonfire circle on April 12 as a gesture of gratitude and integration.

this gathering is optional. it is an invitation to listen, integrate, and allow what has surfaced to settle into the body and the shared field.

note: further details and gentle guidance on how to hold this will be shared with those who register.

registration

there is no charge for participation. this is a community-held practice, rooted in shared intention rather than transaction.

root & bloom sound bath · where origins meet becoming

a shared sound journey for parent and child.

join Layla Haroon, sound resonance facilitator,
and Zahra Junaid, her protégé,
as they hold a resonance portal
in honour of a special living bond
one that evolves as we do.

a bond beyond words.
a thread older than language,
felt before we were named.

before roles.
before identities.
before inherited stories.

where one life becomes a mirror for another.
where love learns through reflection.
where tenderness and tension share the same root.

bring the one you are rooted in.
bring the one you are growing alongside.

to rest, remember, and be together — beyond the self.

offered freely • registration required • limited spaces

due to the intimate nature of the experience and limited space, this experience is designed for one parent or guardian attending with one child (ages 12–16).

resonance circle · in the presence of love

an evening devoted to embracing love
as pure presence
not as an idea,
but as a lived experience.

held around the heart centre,
this gathering invites a gentle return
to the space where presence becomes felt,
where connection is no longer effort,
and where love is revealed as simple awareness.

through shared stillness, subtle Reiki, and a sound resonance journey,
we enter a field of being
nothing to strive for, nothing to become
only a moment of being held
in presence, in sound, in awareness.

with Layla Haroon (sound resonance facilitator) & Brian Banks (Reiki master)

resonance circle · a soft January new moon gong bath

a gentle gathering around the January new moon, where sound, stillness, and presence fold into the dark, a space to soften, reset, and return to what is quietly beginning.

weaving together gong resonance, solfeggio frequencies, layered with the ambient tones of bowls and subtle supporting elements, into a shared field of vibration.

we close with a shared ritual of rose-bud tea, dates, and fig, and quiet conversation, allowing what has been opened in the dark to land softly.

solstice reverie: sound bath & cacao by the flame

as the longest night descends, we gather near,
to rest, to remember, to simply be here.

solfeggio waves and celestial tones align,
the ocean’s hum softening the edges of time.

sacred oil lamp becomes our steady flame,
a gentle gaze returning us to where we came.

silence deepens, a field within,
a quiet truth stirring beneath the din.

with tender hands we shape the light we seek,
release the old, invite the new to speak.

warm cacao opens the heart’s mystique,
softening our being at its quiet peak.

in this stillness, we rest as whole;
the night itself reflects the soul.
